BackRomania: Dedeman, Hornbach, Brico Dépôt still open
In Romania, a number of large DIY chains continue to open, while other retailers have temporarily closed their stores. The stores of Dedeman, Brico Dépôt, Hornbach and Mathaus, which belongs to the builders' merchant Arabesque, are still open; however, these chains have reduced their opening hours and installed distance rules and access restrictions. Most companies also recommend that customers order online via Click & Reserve and then pick up their purchases.
Other large retail chains have temporarily closed their stores. After Ikea (two stores, 20 March), Leroy Merlin (17 stores, 23 March) and the furniture retailer Jysk (85 stores, 23 March), the home furnishings retailer Homelux (25 March) has also closed temporarily.
