Predictions for online retail during the second half of 2020

"Of course, the return to the new normality will once again experience a resurgence of face-to-face services, but we will not return to the previous state." That is the prediction of Art Goldman, CFO of DK Hardware. The US company sees itself as one of the largest online home improvement retailers for a variety of hardware manufacturers all over the United States and Canada. Following the situation experienced by retailers and consumers during the Covid-19 pandemic, Goldman believes that "online services are here to stay. They have some weaknesses such as the lack of more personalised treatment and the possibility of physical engagement, but also some remarkably interesting aspects. The decrease in travel time to experience the service and greater security regarding health lead the list."

Art Goldman's statement in full can be found in the DIYinternational Industry/Distribution section.
