New boss and more changes at Praxis

The Dutch DIY store chain Praxis in the Maxeda DIY Group has got a new managing director. At the turn of the year, Corine Duchenne superseded Joost de Beijer, who had left the company after twelve years. There has also been a change in the position of operations director. Frits Voorhout has taken over this role from Frank Pruijn who resigned after six years at Praxis.

The new managing director of Praxis, Corine Duchenne, has already been working for the company for twelve years, initially in the field of finances and in the last three and a half years as Group HR & Communication Director. Her predecessor, Joost de Beijer, worked on the integration of the sales channel Formido into the sales channel Praxis, mainly the Praxis City format - which had begun as Praxis om de Hoek - and drove growth in online trade, according to the company.

The new operations director, Frits Voorhout, had previously managed Praxis stores and later returned to the Maxeda DIY Group for the Formido integration project.
