Epicentr expands with smaller format

The Ukrainian DIY market leader Epicentr continues the expansion of its slightly smaller format. The company opened the seventh store in this format in Khust. This was reported by the Romanian industry service bricoretail.ro with reference to AllRetail.

The retail space amounts to 4 350 m². Epicentr locations are usually very much larger. According to statistics by the Dähne Verlag publishing house, their average retail space is approx. 24 000 m². The company reports the overall retail space to be 1.5 mio m² and the number of locations more than 50. The first store in this new format was opened by Epicentr in 2013. Approx. 27 000 articles are offered in the new store.
