Kingfisher has reported a slight increase in turnover for the first quarter (ending 30 April 2026) of its 2026/2027 financial year. Total revenue of GBP 3.300 bn (EUR 3.822 bn) was 1.4 per cent higher than the corresponding figure for the previous year. On a constant currency basis, it was exactly on target (0.0 per cent), whilst on a like-for-like basis it fell short by 0.9 per cent, as shown in the quarterly report.
On an unadjusted basis, there were gains in all regions. The only negative figure is the 3.0 per cent decline in turnover for B&Q, the main sales channel in the UK and Ireland. In contrast, the British group also saw a slight increase in turnover in France (+1.4 per cent), across both retail brands Castorama and Brico Dépôt. However, the year-on-year growth rates, adjusted for currency and like-for-like factors, show a decline.
