Spain could avoid recession in construction

In Spain, it is expected that the crisis in the construction sector prevailing in many European countries will not affect the country. The association of Spanish DIY manufacturers AFEB quotes a study by the Instituto de Tecnología de la Construcción (ITEC), according to which Spain will not experience a recession in construction this year and next year – unlike, for example, Germany with a decline of 3.4 per cent or Italy with a decline of 6.5 per cent.
