Expansion of overseas commitment

Wienerberger, the Austrian manufacturer of bricks and roof tiles, has taken over the American company Wittichen Lime & Cement Co Inc complete with its six plants. This report comes from the vwd news agency. What is more, Wienerberger intends to expand the capacity of the brickworks at Brickhaven in North Carolina. According to the report, a figure of approximately € 34.4 mio is being put on the volume of investment for these measures.
