Further growth for EMV-Profi

Through three branch openings and the admission of ten more members EMV-Profi was able to increase its centrally regulated volume up to 31 October 2004 by 4.72 per cent over the previous year’s result. As a result of the cooperation agreement that has been reached with the building materials cooperative Celo, the number of affiliated stores will go up by a further 42 sales outlets from 1 January 2005: 39 from Nowebau and three from Baustoffring. EMV-Profi’s total of 262 operating units will achieve estimated external sales of approx. € 585 mio from 2005. EMV-Profi is reckoning with further admissions from Celo in the lower two-figure range.
