IHA meeting in Shanghai

The exhibition space for the multi-trade show, Practical World Asia/China International Hardware Show (CIHS), between 19 and 21 October is almost fully booked. The previously expressed expectation that 1 300 companies would take part in the event seems to be coming true. Koelnmesse, which is acting as co-organiser, is reckoning with more than 100 exhibitors in the Practical World Asia segment. The International Federation of Hardware and Housewares Associations (IHA) is to hold its annual meeting in Shanghai in the run-up to the show on 17 October. Next year the international body intends to stage its conference in parallel to the multi-trade fair. The IHA has around 31 000 members from 17 countries.
