Name change in Austria

Dachser-Austria is now the name of the international logistics provider Dachser in Austria. The new name of the company’s six Austrian branches, in Vienna, Lannach, Bergheim, Lauterach, Hall in Tyrol and Hörsching, is intended to give expression to the idea of short chains of communication and proximity to customers. Following the 100 per cent acquisition by the logistics provider of Euronet, the Schachinger subsidiary, on 1 January this year, Dachser-Schachinger has now become Dachser-Austria. In the words of managing director Günther Klimitsch, “We want to express our Austrian self-awareness through changing our company name to Dachser-Austria.”
