Obi’s growth schedule

The next locations for the expansion being planned in Russia by the German DIY market leader Obi are Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Samara and St Petersburg. New stores are also scheduled for other east European countries, including three more outlets that are to be built in Poland. What is more, there are plans for new outlets in Slovenia and Hungary as well. Two additional stores in Bosnia-Herzegovina are also in the pipeline. Of the current total of 484 Obi stores, 145 are located outside Germany. This is where the company is focusing its attention in planning its ongoing expansion.
