In the medium term the German company, Roto Frank AG, intends to meet the requirements of the Russian market entirely through production within the country

The hardware manufacturer Roto Frank of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany, has started up an assembly plant in Moscow. The target is to assemble up to 1.5 mio sets of fittings for windows and French windows annually in the 2 300 m² factory. The company employs a workforce of 46 there. “Our medium-term target is to meet Russian requirements completely through production in Russia itself,” said chairman Gerhard Sommerer at the official opening. Russia represents one of the most significant markets for the company worldwide in terms of annual sales.
