Cancellation of Garden Expo

This year’s Garden Expo in Utrecht, Netherlands, has been cancelled. The announcement came from the organising associations, Stichting Tuinpromotie Nederland (STN) and Vereniging voor de Tuinbranche (VBTB), together with the Amsterdam RAI exhibition company. The dates were to have been 12 to 14 September. The fair is now to be held again in the autumn of 2005. The DIY & Hardware event, planned to be held in parallel, was cancelled in May already. Which is the reason given by the organisers for the cancellation of Garden Expo now as well, though it appears that half of the exhibition space had already been booked.
