New Daily News on all exhibition days

The Daily News, Dähne Verlag’s show bulletin for the International Hardware Fair/Practical World in Cologne from 14-17 March, has been completely revamped. Not only has the paper’s format been completely redesigned, but the news coming hot off the press each day and printed at the fair itself will now appear throughout in both German and English. This move by Dähne reflects the change in the visitor and exhibitor structure of the International Hardware Fair/Practical World, as considerably more than 60 per cent of the exhibitors and trade visitors now come from abroad. The content of the paper has also changed: each of the four issues now includes two articles focusing on countries and providing in-depth information on important store developments and DIY trends in eight countries in all. The countries under the spotlight this year will be the USA and the UK (Sunday), Germany and Canada (Monday), the Netherlands and France (Tuesday) and Austria and Spain (Wednesday).
