Changes at Kingfisher

Further changes in the management ranks have been announced by Kingfisher, in addition to the long-term withdrawal of Bill Whiting, Chief Executive of B&Q. Helen Weir, currently Group Finance Director, is stepping down from the board on 31 March 2004. Her position will be taken over by Duncan Tatton-Brown, currently Finance Director of B&Q. George Adams, who is at present Group Commercial Director, has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Executive, Commercial.
