Mr. Bricolage enters into a partnership with CDiscount

The French DIY chain Mr. Bricolage has entered into a strategic partnership with the CDiscount platform. In a first phase, the two new partners will form a purchasing alliance for DIY and garden products. A second phase provides for Mr. Bricolage using the Internet marketplace of CDiscount.

CDiscount belongs to the French supermarket group Casino, which operates the Spar chain and the discounter Monoprix among other channels in France. The company also has interests in South America. CDiscount views itself as the market leader in online retailing in France with sales of EUR 3.4 bn.
