The former Executive Vice President of Home Depot advises traders worldwide

The Global DIY Lifetime Award 2015 goes to James (Jim) W. Inglis. The award ceremony will take place as part of the 3rd Global DIY-Summit on 11 June in London.
Jim Inglis has been active in the DIY industry for 50 years. He was Executive Vice President Merchandising at Home Depot from 1983 to 1996 and a member of the Corporate Board of Directors. After spending two years as Chief Operating Officer at The Maxim Group – Carpetmax, he set up his own business as an internationally active independent consultant.
His list of clients includes such big names as Sodimac (Chile), Hornbach (Germany), Komeri (Japan) und Bunnings (Australia).
“It’s a wonderful honour, to receive this highly acclaimed prize at the end of my long career”, Inglis said in response to the decision by Edra (European DIY-Retail Association), Fediyma (European Federation of DIY Manufacturers) and Ghin (Global Home Improvement Network). The laudation will be held by Sandro Solari, Group CEO of Falabella, the parent company of Sodimac at the award ceremony in London.
