Woodie’s DIY grows like-for-like by 17 per cent in 2020

The Irish DIY store chain Woodie's DIY has completed the year 2020 with a plus in like-for-like sales of 17.2 per cent. In November and December growth amounted to 26.5 per cent compared to the same period last year. This has been reported by the British parent company Grafton Group in a trading update even before the publication of final results on 25 February. It speaks of "exceptional levels of demand experienced in the months that followed the lifting of restrictions and reopening of the business".
