The small store and professional sales channel Toolstation in the British group Travis Perkins continues to expand and increases its sales, also on a like-for-like basis. In the first half of the year it achieved a total sales growth of 17.6 per cent and a growth of 10.7 per cent on a like-for-like basis. After 22 new openings the number of subsidiaries rose to 317.

Toolstation has also opened further locations in the Netherlands. The group also reports an extension of the trial in France, with encouraging sales results.
