The current edition of Europe Statistics is out now

Groupe Adeo up 4.8 per cent, Kingfisher down 0.6 per cent, Obi up 4.3 per cent - and what about the rest of the top 20 ranking of the European DIY store operators which ends with Bygma from Denmark and Cofaq from France? Who, in which country, operates how many of the overall 2 991 locations outside their respective home market? How has the increase of 7.3 per cent in retail space in Russia come about? And what figures are available for the online trade with DIY products?

These questions are answered in the current edition of Statistics Home Improvement Retail Europe 2019. The volume, which contains the European DIY store statistics - also the sales, retail space and location rankings of the top 20 in the world - with data inventory up to the end of 2018, is out now. Retail space and number of locations for the DIY store groups including the rate of change compared to the previous year are available for 31 countries. The chapters on e-commerce and the garden market have been extended in comparison to the previous edition.

The research and preparation of the data has again been carried out by the team of experts from the trade journal DIY International at the Dähne Verlag publishing house. All data is also available to download in the form of Excel and PDF files.
