Strong sales growth at Bosch Power Tools

Bosch Power Tools grew strongly again in the past fiscal year 2017. At EUR 4.7 bn, Bosch's sales were higher than ever before. Adjusted for exchange rate effects, this growth corresponds to five percent, nominally four percent. "We have continued the trend of recent years and once again significantly increased our sales,"said Henning von Boxberg, Chairman of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH, at the division's trade press conference. The company is continuing to expand its range of battery-powered tools - which are becoming increasingly important - and is taking advantage of networking opportunities for products and services. Von Boxberg: "Another important pillar of our growth is our long-term focus on emerging markets. Last year, Bosch achieved double-digit growth worldwide with power tools in more than 30 countries, including China, India and Russia."
