Sales in the Kesko division in the first quarter are 25 per cent below the previous year

Kesko's sales in the building and technical trade decreased by 18.2 per cent in the first quarter, with sales of EUR 903.0 mio in total. Primarily responsible for the large drop of 25.6 per cent in Finland was the divestment of the K-maatalous agricultural business, the furniture trade and the leisure machinery trade in the second quarter of 2017. Comparable sales dropped by 1.4 per cent in Finland and by 4.1 per cent in the other countries.
