Lowe’s increases sales by 33 per cent compared to 2019

The US American DIY store chain Lowe's is planning overall sales of around USD 95 bn (EUR 84 bn) for financial year 2021. That would be around 33 per cent more than 2019 on a like-for-like basis. For 2020, the editorial team of DIY International researched a sales volume of around EUR 74 bn after conversion for its Statistics Home Improvement Retail 2021. According to this, sales by Lowe's in the current year would grow by more than 13 per cent.
The statistics volume by DIY International, which is published annually, delivers not only detailed location and retail space figures from Europe, but also extensive data from the global home improvement market. This includes, for example, the rankings of the 20 largest DIY store operators around the world with figures on sales, retail space and the number of locations.
