Hagebaumarkt stores gain more than three per cent

In the first three quarters of the year, the 382 Hagebaumarkt stores in Germany and Austria increased their sales by 3.1 per cent.

Net sales turnover of the Hagebaumarkt stores in Germany and Austria lay at € 1.71 bn after the first nine months of the year. Thus, sales at all 382 Hagebaumarkt stores exceeded the respective previous year's value by 3.1 per cent.

The small store concept Werkers Welt, which is also overseen by the retail division of the German cooperative, developed even better. The 108 locations in Germany increased their net sales turnover by 5.4 per cent to € 135.9 mio compared to the same period last year.

The centrally invoiced sales at the Hagebau headquarters grew by 3.4 per cent to € 5.07 bn in the first three quarters compared to the same period last year. In specialist trade, the partners' purchasing volume lay 4.8 per cent over sales in the previous year's comparison period. The area in the cooperative with strongest sales achieved pure supplier sales of € 3.17 bn with its three divisions building materials, wood and tiles.
