DIY stores soon to be open throughout Germany

In Germany, the three federal states in which DIY stores had been previously closed are allowing them to open. In Mecklenburg-West Pomerania in the north-east of Germany, DIY stores are allowed to open again this Saturday 18 April 2020, in Saxony in the east and in Bavaria in the South from Monday 20 April.
Apart from in Bavaria, certain relaxations of the regulations will apply in the whole of Germany from next week. For example, retail stores of all types with a floor space of up to 800 m² will then be able to open. Bavaria intends to permit this one week later.
