Byggmax opens new store in Lycksele

The retailer Byggmax is to open a new store at Fabriksgatan 9 in Lycksele during spring 2019. The store will employ four to five people. "The address is perfect for us and we are looking forward to opening up a store in Lycksel," said Jens Kristofersson, regional manager for Byggmax Sweden.

Byggmax sells construction materials such as lumber, flooring, drywall, cement, windows, doors and paint to both professionals and DIY customers. The Byggmax concept is to offer good quality products at good prices. The Byggmax Group consists of Byggmax, Skånska Byggvaror, and Buildor. For 2017, the Group's net sales amounted to SEK 5.3 billion. The Byggmax Group has been listed on Nasdaq since 2010.

Byggmax was founded in 1993 and currently operates 98 stores in Sweden, 38 in Norway and 11 in Finland and e-commerce in all three countries.
