Small B&Q concessions in four Asda stores

Kingfisher is to test out small-format B&Q stores as concessions in Asda supermarkets. Four of these are to be rolled out this autumn. The small-format B&Q stores will be in prominent locations at the front of each store and will be branded and operated by B&Q, according to the British DIY retailer's half-year report.
Asda is the third-largest supermarket chain in Britain and has over 600 stores. Since 1999 it has been part of the American group Walmart, which is currently trying to sell its majority holding in Asda.
