The new chief financial officer (CFO) of Lowe's is to be Marshall A. Croom (56). On 3 March he will succeed Robert F. (Bob) Hull Jr., who has announced that he plans to retire after 17 years with the company. Hull will remain at Lowe's through March to ensure a smooth transition period, according to the American home improvement retailer.
Croom has worked for Lowe's for 20 years. In his new role, he will oversee accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations and financial planning and analysis. He will also continue to lead internal audit and enterprise risk management, areas he has managed since 2009.
