Dähne Verlag has just published the latest statistics for European home improvement retailers in an expanded and updated format. The long-established reference work produced by the editorial team of the trade magazine DIY International has been retitled "Statistics Home Improvement Retail Europe 2017" and includes additional contributions from market researcher Klaus Peter Teipel containing IFH data.
The number of countries covered has now risen to 31 following the addition of Ireland, Luxembourg and Greece. The rankings of the biggest DIY store operators in Europe and worldwide have also been expanded from ten to 20 companies. Another new feature is a list of non-European DIY retailers with their foreign interests.  This complements the list of European companies, which has appeared for a number of years.
The publisher has also changed the way in which the Excel and PDF versions of the statistics are accessed. Having been previously supplied in CD-ROM form, these are now accessible to readers via a download code. Last but not least, the adhesive binding previously used has been replaced by a spiral binding to make this substantial reference work handier to use.
