03.03.2021

Thai home improvement company Dohome saw growth, with consolidated revenues going up 5.3 per cent to THB 18.92 bn, buoyed by a 15 per cent rise in services income to THB 159.62 mio and a five per cent nudge in sales to THB 18.61 bn. Expenses rose 5.7 per cent to THB 17.77 bn, however, resulting in an almost stagnant net income of THB 726.68 mio from THB 725.51 mio in 2019.
DoHome, which had to close stores to adhere to movement restriction orders by the government, attributes its growth during the pandemic to alternative sales channels including e-commerce, telephone sales and sales representatives.
At the end of 2020, Dohome had twelve large stores, eleven small stores under the Dohome ToGo brand and one distribution centre, raising its outlet count by eight from 2019's ten large stores, Dohome ToGo stores and one distribution centre.
Dohome sells construction materials, office equipment and household products. Its categories include hardware tools, agriculture garden water pumps, electronics, bedroom furniture, household appliances, lighting and electrical equipment, sanitary ware, bathrooms and tiles, stationery, sports equipment, basic building materials and other products.
