Clas Ohlson Lab Store opens in Stockholm

Clas Ohlson has opened a so-called Lab Store in Stockholm. The store is a new concept that is built like a home and forms part of the company's Stockholm office. According to the company, it carries a unique range and offers products and services that are tested with customers before they are rolled out across the company. Another element of the store is a service centre in which customers can book services for their projects via the new Clas Fix It facility and obtain advice on home improvement projects. The centre also offers a blade sharpening service. The auditorium belonging to the Lab Store can be used in addition to hold seminars and other events.
"With Lab Store we will have a new arena for solving problems at home. It will be an experimental workshop where we develop our business together with customers and collaboration partners. We also see good opportunities to try out new digital solutions here. By integrating our Stockholm office with the Lab Store we also get closer to our customers in more parts of the organisation," says Fredrik Uhrbom, country manager for Sweden at Clas Ohlson.
