Niblock plans to retire as chairman, president and CEO of Lowe's after a 25-year career with the company, including 13 years as chairman and CEO, according to a press release by the second-biggest home improvement store operator in the USA and worldwide. The board of directors has initiated a search for his successor. The press release adds that Niblock will remain in his current role in the interim, and he has offered to assist the board with its search.
