The French DIY store chains Bricomarché and Bricorama are selling prepaid cards with which customers can have small jobs done in and around the house. The partner in this new offer is the company Youpijob, which was founded in 2012 and acts as broker for such services. The DIY store customers can make contact with Youpijob, by telephone or on the Internet, who will then arrange a contractor within 72 hours. Sixteen standard services at a value of EUR 59 to EUR 129 are offered, for example assembling a water tap or cutting a hedge. The cards can be found in the DIY stores within the vicinity of the relevant products.
Bricomarché and Bricorama belong to the Les Mousquetaires trading group. The prepaid cards are available at the launch at 120 outlets.
