ManoMano, the online marketplace specialising in DIY and garden, has again gathered capital in the three-digit million range.  Various investors have made EUR 125 mio available to the startup which was founded in France in 2013. This means that the company has now collected a total of EUR 311 mio in six years. It now wants to use the fresh capital to continue to drive growth, in particular in Germany. Here, the platform gained a trade volume of EUR 43 mio last year, an increase of 121 per cent compared to the previous year.
The startup is active in a total of six European countries, in addition to Germany and France, also in Great Britain, Spain, Italy and Belgium. With a trade volume of 67 million euros, the German retailers on ManoMano are by far the largest exporters on the company's international platforms. This is also why an own logistics centre is planned for Germany.
