The reason for the postponement is the Covid-19 situation. Despite conditions having improved in some places, many companies continue to operate travel bans and many countries still have quarantine regulations for travellers, the organising associations Edra/Ghin and Hima write in their announcement. A high-calibre international event such as the Global DIY Summit would be unavoidably affected by this, say the associations.
The reason for the change of event location from RAI Amsterdam to the Bella Centre in Copenhagen is due to the availability on this date and, most importantly, the available space which is necessary if distancing regulations have to be adhered to.
Tickets purchased for 2020 automatically remain valid for 2021. No action is required from participants who have already booked.
This year's tickets also apply for the new online networking platform which is to be launched at the start of October. This online service will provide online seminars, masterclasses, downloadable studies, contact possibilities and the arrangement of video calls with other participants.
