The latest edition of DIY International offers its readers a very extensive, ten page long regional report on Belgium and the Netherlands. The current issue is out now.
It includes an analysis for both countries on how the DIY stores in the different companies are distributed among the individual regions; the data on this originates from the statistics department at the Dähne Verlag publishing house. Interviews and reports deal with important DIY store groups such as Hubo, Gamma, Maxeda/Brico and Oh'Green.
A lot of space is also given to a look back at the 6th Global DIY Summit in Barcelona. Also, in the Distribution section, the editors report on new developments at Coop Bau + Hobby in Switzerland and the spectacular withdrawal of Wesfarmers/Bunnings from Great Britain.
In the field of assortments, the focus lies on the product group paint in DIY International 3/2018. In addition to an analysis of the GfK figures from Germany, France and Great Britain, reports on Ciret/Color Expert and Nespoli can also be found here.
