Martin Dippie opens new Mitre 10 Mega store in New Zealand

New Zealand has a new Mitre 10 Mega store. The new store in Wanaka, which replaces an older outlet, has over 4 870m² of retail area and a 3 900m² garden centre area. An adjacent trade and timber yard adds an additional 10 000 m².
Co-owner Martin Dippie is the chairman of the Mitre 10 co-operative. He and his brother Allan Dippie built the new store and have owned the local Mitre 10 since 2000. Martin and his wife Frances also own Mitre 10 Mega Dunedin and Mitre 10 Mosgiel.
The Mitre 10 New Zealand co-operative comprises 84 locally owned stores.
