The French online marketplace for DIY and garden products Mano Mano has collected fresh capital to the amount of € 60 mio for its further expansion in Europe. According to reports from the German journal Wirtschaftswoche (WiWo), investment has been led by the growth equity company General Atlantic, whereby the existing donors Piton Capital, Partech Ventures und Bpifrance have also contributed.
The report states that a large part of the money is intended for stronger growth on the German market. "For Mano Mano, Germany is the most promising market and, at the same time, the most demanding. Competition is fierce," cites WiWo the two founders Christian Raisson Philippe de Chanville. They are of the opinion that sales of € 200 mio over three years in Germany are possible.
