Lowe‘s increases comparable sales by 4.0 per cent

Lowe's increased its sales in fiscal 2017/2018 (ended 2 February 2018) to USD 68.619 bn. The figure represents an increase of 5.5 per cent, although fiscal 2016/2017 included one more week than 2017/2018. Comparable sales increased by 4.0 per cent, while comparable sales for the U.S. home improvement business increased by 3.9 per cent.
The number two home improvement retailer in American and global DIY retailing ended the fourth quarter with sales of USD 15.494 bn. This figure was down 1.8 per cent on the same period in the previous year with its additional week. The increase in comparable sales was 4.1 per cent in total and 3.7 per cent for stores in the USA.
