The Danish chain Jem & Fix is expanding into Norway, with four or five stores expected to open as the spring progresses. Four of the locations are already decided, and a Norwegian central office has already been established at Lysaker, close to Oslo. Country manager Kennet Foersom Iversen is moving from the Danish head office, where he has been working up to now as HR and operations manager. The pilot stores are located in towns of varying size and with diffeent competition situations. Up to 50 Jem & Fix stores could open in Norway in the next five years, director Claus Petersen stated in a press release.
Jem & Fix is part of the Harald Nyborg Group and operates a low price concept. The chain currently has 115 stores in Denmark and 45 in Sweden.
