Mathieu Pivain (52) is the new president of the French DIY retailers' association Fédération des Magasins de Bricolage (FMB). He has worked for ten years at Kingfisher, the British parent company of Castorama and Brico Dépôt in France. Working initially at Brico Dépôt, he assumed the role of asset management director of the Kingfisher Group in France in June 2018.
Pivain succeeds Marc Ténart, who was likewise with Kingfisher up to September 2017 as CEO of Kingfisher in France and only took over the presidency of the FMB in May 2018.
