Home Depot has increased its third-quarter sales (quarter ending 1 November) by 23.2 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year to USD 33.536 bn (EUR 28.261 bn). Comparable sales for the third quarter were up by 24.1 per cent, and comparable sales in the U.S. grew by 24.6 per cent. "The third quarter was another exceptional quarter for The Home Depot as we saw the continuation of outsized demand for home improvement projects, which has led to sales growth of more than USD 15 billion through the first nine months of the year," said Craig Menear, chairman and CEO.
