Growth of Home Pro weakens further in 2018

The growth of the Thai home improvement retailer Home Pro has weakened to a level which is normal on an international scale. In the last year the company increased its sales income by 2.83 per cent to THB 61.58098 bn. The background, as presented by the company, is the weak economic development of the country as a result of the US-China trade dispute and the weak purchasing power.
In the last year the company opened a new store in the Home Pro format and five Home Pro S stores in Thailand. There were no new openings in Malaysia. At the end of the year the branch network comprised of 82 Home Pro stores, eight Home Pro S stores, twelve Mega Home stores in Thailand as well as six Home Pro Stores in Malaysia.
