Hagebau's specialist trade is creating a new e-commerce division. It is headed by Oliver Arp (38), who, as department manager, already developed and implemented the Hagebau specialist trade's comprehensive online shop concept."With the newly created e-commerce division we have made another important step towards implementing our Strategy 2020. Digitisation is one of the central strategic core fields of Hagebau's specialist trade. With our new division we are fulfilling the requirements of multi-faceted, cross-channel-orientated sales," says Hartmut Goldboom, manager of Hagebau specialist trade. In addition, the importance of optimally prepared digital (product) data and standardised processes has extremely risen. According to their objectives, the comprehensive networking of all data in specialist trade is aimed at adding value, increasing sales and optimising the level of all services within the company.Accordingly, the division, with its team of more than ten, is particularly pushing forward the digitisation of the service portfolio for Hagebau's entire specialist trade.Also included in this division are extensive e-commerce and multi-channel activities, therefore also the use of the Internet as indispensable sales channel for specialist trade, as well as product information management in which product data is gathered, developed and prepared. In addition, e-procurement processes, such as EDI orders, also belong in this new field, with their extremely successful solutions for digital purchasing, which ensure an increase in efficiency and quality in the standardised procurement processes.
