Chamber of commerce delegation visits FN Neuhofer

The company FN Neuhofer received a visit last week from the president of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKOÖ), Doris Hummer, along with the regional chairman and member of parliament Dr Angelika Winzig and regional director Thomas Brindl. Impressed by the continuing growth and steady investment in Zell am Moos of nearly EUR 14 mio in the last five years in automation and interlinking of facilities, packaging robots, the "FN digiprint Competence Center" and in warehouses, the WKOÖ accepted an invitation from FN Neuhofer to take a look around the plant."As part of the presentation of our family firm and our vision, we were able to address current challenges with regard to which we are hoping for the support of the Chamber. For example, support for licences relating to forthcoming construction plans, support for our request that our four highly rated production apprentices from Afghanistan be permitted to remain in Austria, as well as for developing export contacts, tackling skills shortages, etc.", said managing director Franz Neuhofer.During a tour of the production plant the delegation members saw for themselves the family company's operational efficiency.
