Kyocera acquires US fasteners specialist Senco

The Kyocera Corporation has acquired 100 per cent ownership of Senco Holdings, Inc., the fastening systems manufacturer based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The company has been renamed Kyocera Senco Industrial Tools, Inc. With the acquisition of Senco, the Kyocera Corporation is pursuing the goal of increasing annual sales of fastening tools and components to nearly 40 bn JPY (around € 362 mio) by the end of the financial year on 31 March 2021. It also aims to extend its portfolio of fastening systems for DIY enthusiasts, retailers, tradesmen and industry. Senco was established in 1948 and is an internationally active manufacturer of fastening systems and tools. The company's production and marketing takes place primarily in the USA and Europe, while its products are sold in more than 40 countries.
