Vymos wants to extend and further expand its stores

09.11.2016

The St. Petersburg trading company Vymos wants to extend and modernise its stores. It has announced that it will be investing around RUB 1.2 bn (approx. € 17.1 million) in modernising its branches and fleet this year and in the coming year. In particular the individual stores are to be extended from a current average of 1 000 m² to 5 000 m². Vymos also wants to build several new stores.
Eight locations were already enlarged last year. In total Vymos currently has over 45 trade outlets for building materials and household goods in the northwesterly part of Russia. Even though a drop in the Russian DIY industry of eight percent is forcasted for Russia this year, the company appears confident and expects an increase in revenue of twelve per cent to RUB 11.5 bn.
