COO Frank Bielfeld is leaving Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland.

Frank Bielfeld, chief operating officer and sales director of Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland GmbH, is leaving the company. The management team will now be strengthened by Timo Kirstein who is taking over the function of director of Heavy Building Materials for the Berlin/Brandenburg and Central Germany division.

Bielfeld, who began his career at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution almost 36 years ago, was most recently member of the management board. From this time forth, Michael Schumacher, CEO and chairman of the management board at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland, will directly head the directors of the fields Heavy Building Materials, Tiles, Civil Engineering and the director of Key Account Management. As from 1 March 2018, Timo Kirstein will strengthen the management team at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution. Kirstein, until now speaker of the management board at Uni Elektro Fachgroßhandel GmbH & Co.KG, which belongs to the Würth group, is taking over the role of director of the Heavy Building Materials field for the division Berlin/Brandenburg and Central Germany.
