Rusta expands and rearranges logistics

Rusta operates 87 stores in Sweden, 19 in Norway, and two in Germany.

The Swedish trading company Rusta wants to "increase the expansion rate significantly" in all markets, as CEO Goran Westerberg says. Rusta operates department stores with home furnishing and DIY assortments. The company has also been represented in Germany since May 2017 and now has a second location here. There are currently 87 stores in Sweden and 19 in Norway. Up to now, sales this year have grown by 15 per cent and are expected to reach more than five billion SEK in the year 2017.

In order to concentrate on its business model and the expansion, Rusta is selling its logistics centre in Norrköping, in which the entire warehouse act management is cumulated and which is currently being extended by 46 000 m², to a property management company and will rent back the entire property.
