Obi wants to double the number of its stores in Italy

The German chain of DIY stores, Obi - number one in Germany and number three in Europe - wants to double its locations in Italy. That's according to CEO Sergio Giroldi in an interview with the trade journal Brico Magazine. Giroldi didn't want to state a precise time frame, but spoke of "a few years" in which this target is to be reached. Obi currently operates 54 DIY stores in Italy.
